This was the first time I’d really spent time looking at my resume in my sober life and it was super painful for a little while. My mind started telling myself all kinds of crazy things. I started comparing myself to my past and thinking about how I shoulda coulda woulda done things differently. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else, but definitely don’t compare yourself to yourself. Be proud of how far you’ve come and where you are! Take those small action steps every day to maintain your joy!! Walk around the block, give yourself a bear hug, do whatever you gotta do to CHOOSE JOY!!! NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!

P.S…. Don’t forget… GO MAKE SOME STRANGERS SMILE!!! xoxoxo
